Specialty crops

Coriander and white sorghum are considered specialty (niche) crops in Europe.

Coriander is grown in Ukraine not only as a traditional spice, but also as a niche crop, especially in the southern and central regions.It is popular as an essential oil crop and is also used in cooking, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics . Coriander can be considered a niche crop in certain regions or for specific purposes, such as for organic oil production or for cultivation on small farms targeting a specialised market. 

White sorghum in Ukraineis grown and is in demand both in the domestic and foreign markets. It is mainly exported to Asian and African countries. The price of white sorghum in Ukraine may vary depending on the region and period of purchase, but on average it is about prices of Corn.
