Soybean meal is a high-protein product of soybean processing. It is used for the production of compound feed (poultry farming, pig farming).

Characteristics:

• Appearance granulated – cylindrical granules;
• non-granulated – homogeneous loose mass
• Color from light yellow to dark brown
• Smell typical of soybean meal, without foreign odors
• Mass fraction of crude protein in terms of absolutely dry matter, % not less than 50
• Mass fraction of crude fiber in terms of absolutely dry matter, % not more than 7
• Mass fraction of crude fat in terms of absolutely dry matter, % not more than 1.5
• Mass fraction of moisture and volatile substances, % not more than in DSTU 4230:2003
• Mass fraction of metal impurities, %
• Particles up to 2 mm in size inclusive not more than 0.01
