TASTING NOTES

VISUAL

Attractive and intense cherry color with garnet notes.

SMELL

A complex and elegant nose, highlighting aromas of ripe, concentrated red and black fruit. We find forest fruits such as cherry, currant, and blackberry. Spicy and balsamic nuances are rounded off with roasted and milky notes typical of aging in our finest barrels.

TASTE

On the palate, it's round, concentrated, and balanced with well-integrated medium-high acidity. Persistent and expressive with fine tannins, our wine highlights the notes and character of a Garnacha typical of our terroir.

Pairing:

Mature cheeses, grilled meats, game, and traditional stews.

Bodegas Manzanos is the fruit of the work of five generations of the Fernández de Manzanos family, whose winemaking tradition dates back to 1890.

The Vineyards

Protected by the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, we have 950 hectares of vineyards (250 hectares owned and 700 hectares controlled). Together with the 575 hectares under the Navarra Designation of Origin (50 hectares owned and 525 hectares controlled), this totals 1,525 hectares.
